Mr. Clark has been on my mind quite often in the last year as I established my own printing and graphics company... I have remembered and reflected on all of his guidance since I was employed by him 30+ years ago... He was more than an employer, he was a mentor and I am blessed to have been in his company... His memory will always remain with me... His family is in my prayers and I wish them comfort in their time of loss... Chuck Rogers, Huntsville, AL

Dear Clark Family, My dad, Joseph Clark (no relation), became friends with Warren at UT in the late 1940s; they were able to renew their friendship when our family moved to Chattanooga in the 1960s. My dad always thought very highly of Mr. Clark, calling him a man of the highest integrity & character. My parents admired Mr. Clark so much that they named me after him. I was able to meet him (via my dad) a couple of times thru the years. My recollections of those occasions were that they laughed like a couple of schoolboys while telling stories about "the good old days." Also he insisted (although my father protested) that I refer to him as Warren, since we shared that name. To that point in my young life I'd never met another Warren, but I remember being glad to meet this one who had immediately put me at ease. Our Clark family sends condolences and sympathy to yours. Sincerely, Warren S. Clark Knoxville

Mr. Clark took a big chance on me when I was only about 19 years old. He hired me to help start the CAD departement and even bought be my first suite for a picture for the paper. My mom and I were pretty poor at the time and we didn't have money for expensive suites, but he gave me his credit card and told me to go to the mall and get one. That started 8 years of great on the job training that helped build the career I have today. I don't know were I would have ended up without Mr. Clark, but I probably would not be the Pcb Design Manager at one of the Most successful Telecoms in the world without him. I remember eating lunch with Mr. C at the Heritage Club and a bunch of Sales guys and they all waited to see what he would order. He ordered the chopsteack. They all went around the table and ordered the chopsteack, trying to not spend more than Mr. C. as he was the host of the lunch. When it got to me, I ordered the ribeye., I didn't get a good steak often, Mr. C just smiled. Wasn't that he couldn't afford the Ribeye, he just didn't like the way that it treated him. :) All the sales guys in turn then changed their orders. I guese I may have ran the tab up a little that day, but you would have never knew it from Mr. C always the graceous host. He was as much of a father to me as he was a boss. Always giving good advice and always caring about the family and our health and happiness. I got a chance to have a lunch with him in the last few days before he retired from Clark/Precision. We met and talked of the old days and buisness, it was really good to spend some time together again as I had moved to other buisnesses many years before. I did somethign at the end that I will always regret, I picked up the tab. I think I broke his heart a little that day, As he was always the one to pick up the tab for us and I didn't realize that he still considered me the kid and the one to be taken care of. Even though I am now more than 50 years old...... : ) Loved the man very much and I aslo know he is in a better place. Roger Curry Manager Pcb Design Adtran Inc.

Mr. Clark was always kind and generous to me and my family. Working for him for 13 years was a real treat. He made it so you were always looking forward to going to work every day. I'm sure all the tennis greats up in heaven will have to make room for one more. Thank you Mr. Clark for being my boss and my friend. Bryant Harris
