I'm sorry for your loss there are no words that can ease your pain. I just hope that your family will find peace and comfort from hope and promise from God's Word the Bible...That death would be done away with 1Corinthians 15:26 and the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing. Revelation 21 4,5 and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more neither will morning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. And the One seated on the throne said: Look! I am making all things new. Also he says: Write, for these words are faithful and true.....This is God promise and guarantee!!

Carlos, Debbie and family: My heart goes out to each of you at this time. I know the loss of a beloved mother. When I was growing up, the Delta Wilson family were my mothers favorites, She loved Joyce and your mom so much. She loved her beauty shop appointments because she could be around your mom and Joyce laughing, drinking coffee and catching up on things. Carlos, I guess I was the first who gave you a lesson in miscarrying a baby. You were so scared, went running to your mom for help. Your sweet mother could do nothing for me and told you so. I have never forgotten how scared you were and thank you for your help. Your mom will be greatly missed but I want you to know..Love is the only thing God lets us take into heaven and she has taken your love for her with her. Time does not heal but it does teach us how to cope with things. Your mom put her best into you and Debbie and she will live forever in your heart of hearts. She was a beautiful lady, always kind and sweet to me. I shall never forget her. My mom was Marguerite Davis Wilson. I am Frankie Wilson Pope and on behalf of my family Jackie, Doris, Dixie and myself we offer our condolences and pray God sends His Comforter and angels to watch over you at this time of loss.

When I was growing up. most of my memories of Aunt Jean were on Saturday mornings at Joyce's beauty shop. Elaine would be washing my hair and giggling at a story she or Joyce were telling. Their laughter was contagious, even when I didn't have the foggiest clue what they were talking about. (Of course, if the conversation turned to anything for grown ups. I was promptly placed under the hair dryer.) I admired her so much. She was independent, smart, artistic...everything a girl looks up to when they are little and unbearably shy. She bought me my first real art pad, drawing pencils. and charcoal shaders for Christmas when I was 9 and told me she recognized a talent in me. For a kid who didn't think anyone saw her during that time, it meant more than she could ever have known. When I had Bayleigh, she asked me to bring her to see her and wanted to hold her so bad but was afraid to drop her. I put Bayleigh in her arms and put my arms under hers. I could feel the love she had for my baby as our arms intertwined....generations of Wilson love and blood coarsing through us all. It was a beautiful moment that I will never forget. Now, she has joined the generations who have become our cloud of witnesses. We love them....we miss them...and thanks to the love and mercy of Jesus Christ, we get to see them again. Aunt Jean....thanks for telling this backward kid that she was special. Please hug Elaine for me. I can't wait to hear those giggles again one day.

Aunt Jean, One day I came to pick up the Lasagna that you made for me and momma, (you always made the best lasagna!), but what stuck with me about our visit together that day was you telling me that of all the things you missed being able to do, you really missed dancing. Now I know you can dance to your heart's content, and that makes me cry happy tears. I'm sorry I didn't get to say it more often, but I love you. You encouraged me to write, and though I haven't done it much lately, I will continue my writing as tribute to you... Jesus, hold her close. She's something special. And Jean? Meet me when I come home!

Aunt Jean, I can't say enough about what you mean to me. I have precious memories of spending time at your house as a little girl. Mom & Dad always called me 'Little Jean', and thinking of that now makes me smile. And oh yeah, without your help I would never have passed Algebra in school. So thankful that Jeff and I got to see you on Sunday...hearing you say you loved me meant the world to me. See you in Heaven!

Jean was a vety special lady in my life. I enjoyed getting to know and love her over the past few years. I admired Jean very much, she perservered raising her two children by herself as my Mother did. They were both strong, loving women. I will miss her very much. Rest in Peace.
