Obituary of Robert David Carter

Robert David Carter, 74 of Hixson passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016 at his residence. He was a resident of Hixson for over 40 years. Robert retired from Crete Carriers and was a longtime member of the Teamsters. He was preceded in death by his brother, C. B. Carter.
Survivors include his children, David (Denise) Carter and Connie Harrold; brother, William Carter; grandchildren, Melissa, Nick, Amanda, and Jesse; great grandchildren, James, Samuel, Kambrie, and Paisley; and his former wife, Joann Carter.
Memorial services will be held at 2 P. M., Wednesday in the chapel of Legacy Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 12 - 2 P. M. Wednesday.
