I'm sorry for your loss there are no words that can ease your pain. I just hope that your family will find peace and comfort from hope and promise from God's Word the Bible...That death would be done away with 1Corinthians 15:26 and the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing. Revelation 21 4,5 and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more neither will morning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. And the One seated on the throne said: Look! I am making all things new. Also he says: Write, for these words are faithful and true.....This is God promise and guarantee!!

Walter and I send love and sympathy to Wayne's family. We have many happy memories of good times with Wayne, such a wonderful man. A great athlete full of grace. I remember dancing with him and being his partner in many skits for various fundraisers. Wayne, Knox, and Elizabeth--how lucky you are to have had Wayne as your father. I know you have many good memories to cherish--as do all of Wayne's friends who were lucky to have known him. Peace and God's blessings, Kitty Forbes

Dear Wayne, Knox and Elizabeth: It was with great sadness that I learned of your loss. Your Dad and Mom have always had a "special place" in our hearts.................two of our favorite people with whom we shared many memorable times, not the least of which was the "blind date" that they arranged forty five years ago for me with the love of my life. Your Dad was a wonderful compassionate, kind and humble man with a wonderful sense of humor. He will be greatly missed, but we are all blessed with his memory. Take comfort with fond memories of the love he brought to the three of you and all who were fortunate enough to have known him. Love from the two of us, Frank

May prayers go out to the Farmer family for your loss. I met Lonnie Wayne in Boston in 1964 when he encouraged me to try out for the UC football team. It was the best decision I ever made to come to Chattanooga. A teammate, a friend, a wonderful human being. Lonnie we will miss you my friend, God Bless Lonnie Wayne.

Dearest Wayne, Knox, and Elizabeth, I was so sorry to learn of your dear daddy's death. He was a fabulous man, a dear, dear friend. Know that you and yours are in my thoughts and prayers. Zach (on an airplane) and Ned (in St. John's) join me in expressing our deepest sympathy. I was at his wedding to your mom...and we've been friends ever since! God bless all of you during this difficult time. David Walley
