Your family is in our prayers. Having grown up neighbors to the Connors, I have been richly blessed by their friendship and living witness over the years. My mom and dad divorced when I was 5 and as mom raised my brother and I as a single mom, Dot was always looking out for us. When the power went out on our street, theirs was almost always on, so there were many offers of warmth and shelter when we needed it. I remember as a small child having my first toasted strawberry pop tart in Dot's kitchen as she babysat my brother and I. I remember years of passing waves and smiles, laughter at our costumes when we would drop by trick or treating, and many kind words. I didn't become a christian until my 20s, but it was the lifetime testimonies of those around me that expressed Christ's love every day that helped win me over out of my rebellion. Dot was a loving example of the Christian life, and I will miss her sweet spirit and smiling face. Thank you for your friendship over the years. My family and I will continue to pray, and if we can do anything, please don't hesitate to call. Christy loves to cook for folks. :) In Christ, Ross Turner
