Please share a memory of `Jon to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
`Jon Lucas Laymon Sr., 36, passed away unexpectedly on the afternoon of Sunday, January 24th 2016 at Erlanger Hospital. He grew up in Hixson,TN and worked at Kenneth Cox Construction alongside his uncle for many years. He was a loving caring husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. He was a hard worker and always had a desire to do things with perfection. He brought much joy to his family and friends with his numerous jokes, contagious laugh, beautiful blue eyes and his unforgettable smile that could mean one of two things either you blessed his heart or he had gotten one over on you and you didn’t know it yet. He was a man after God’s own heart. Jon knew the Lord wanted him to do something great. Looking at his sons we know he already has. He always bragged about his children he was proud of them because of their unlimited potential and always encouraged them to be their best. In his last act of greatness we will remember it as one of kindness and selflessness. He will be donating his organs to help many others. `Jon is preceded in death by his aunt Rhonda Levi, grandfather James R. Cox, father Dwayne Laymon, son Isaac Metae, nephew Emmett Deason, and cousin Joshua Cox. He is survived by his wife, Lindsay Laymon; children Jon Lucas Laymon Jr. (JL), Christopher Blevins Laymon, and Ashley LaNae Laymon; mother Janice Cox Laymon; sisters Brandy (Tipsy) Laymon, Bonnie (Jeff) Deason, and Brianna (Sean) Baugh; brothers Paul Hindman, Jonny Laymon, Timmy Osborne, and many nieces and nephews.
