Hello, I am sorry about the loss of your dear loved one Ms. Deborah Elkins Watlington in death. And Jesus and his father are hurt also. And will by means of God's Heavenly Kingdom do away with death. God's Kingdom will soon step into mankind's affairs and do what man-made governments can't do that is solve our problems and do away with suffering and death. Jesus will resurrect our dead loved ones back to this earth in peace and righteousness. That is why Jesus taught us to pray The Lord's Prayer because he knew that God's Kingdom is the (ONLY) hope for mankind. I don't know you or her, but I love people and want to comfort them in any way I can. Because that's what Jesus and his father would do. You are in my prayers! Matthew 6:9,10,33 and Revelation 21: 3,4 and Psalms 37:9-11,29. Have a great life!

My heart is broken at the passing of Debbie, my best friend in high school and college! We shared many memories as cheerleaders, attending college football games, shopping at Hammers and singing country music in the dorm at the top of our lungs! Her smile and infectious laugh made everyone around her feel better! We shared many special days and nights talking about our lives, our parents, our future and our God. In fact she was the one who told my future husband John Gravlee (of 40 years) to ask me out... I am so blessed to have had Debbie as my life long friend! Rob, I know that you and she were soul mates and that she treasured each moment with you and your children and grandchildren. I will always keep her in my heart, and I know that she is at peace and resting in the arms of Jesus! John and I will continue to remember you and your family in prayer. Much Love, Debbie Hunnicutt Gravlee

I was just informed of Debbie's passing by a mutual classmate from the dental hygiene program at UT. Reading the obituary and description of her life and seeing her lovely photo, this is the same person I knew so long ago...only even more beautiful. I remember so well her bubbly personality, charm and humor. She was such a bright little light. I can only imagine that this light grew even brighter and stronger through the years and that her loving presence blessed everyone around her. I send love and prayers to Rob and family including Nancy at this most difficult time. Rest assured, dear ones, that she has transcended Home to a place of Divine peace. Much love.

I had the privilege of working with Deb in Chattanooga and Haiti, first on a mobile clinic trip and later as Development Director of the Children's Nutrition Program of Haiti, where Deb served on the board. She was one of the kindest, warmest people I have ever known. She immediately welcomed me into the circle of people working with the children in Haiti, and always treated me almost like I was family. She had that way about her; she just had a really big heart and brought out the best in people. I will miss her dearly and will always remember her with fondness. I know how sad the people of Leogane, Haiti will be to learn of her passing as well. They absolutely adored her and looked forward to each time she visited. Rest in peace, dear one. You did great work while on this earth.
