Obituary of Minnie Ruth Pilgrim

Minnie Ruth Pilgrim, age 90, passed away Monday, December 30, 2013. She was a lifelong member of the Lookout Valley community and the North Georgia area. She was a member of the Tiftonia Church of Christ and the Busy Bee Quilters. She was a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie P. Pilgrim; two daughters, Patricia Suit and Linda Woolbright; one grandson, Tim Thomas; three brothers and one sister. Those left to cherish her memories are 4 sisters, Jo Bumpus, Catherine Hall, Novella Ballard and Jean Pilgrim. A son, Jimmie Pilgrim (Carolyn) and a daughter, Wanda Baldwin; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8pm Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Friday in the chapel of Wann Funeral Home, 4000 Tennessee Avenue, Chattanooga, TN with Mitchell Smith officiating.
