Obituary of Minnie Ruth Pilgrim

Minnie Ruth Pilgrim, age 90, passed away Monday, December 30, 2013. She was a lifelong member of the Lookout Valley community and the North Georgia area. She was a member of the Tiftonia Church of Christ and the Busy Bee Quilters. She was a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie P. Pilgrim; two daughters, Patricia Suit and Linda Woolbright; one grandson, Tim Thomas; three brothers and one sister. Those left to cherish her memories are 4 sisters, Jo Bumpus, Catherine Hall, Novella Ballard and Jean Pilgrim. A son, Jimmie Pilgrim (Carolyn) and a daughter, Wanda Baldwin; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8pm Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Friday in the chapel of Wann Funeral Home, 4000 Tennessee Avenue, Chattanooga, TN with Mitchell Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the Hooker Cemetery in Hooker, Georgia. Share your memories at www.wannfuneralhome.com.
