Dan was a wonderful person and surely be missed. God is near to those who are broken hearted and his bible promises for us in the future can be a source of comfort. We all have the hope of looking forward to a time when we will no longer have to mourn those whom we have lost, as death will no longer exist (Revelation 21:3,4; Isaiah 25:8). May these verses provide comfort amidst your sadness.
