Obituary of Thomas Edgar Sims

Thomas Edgar Sims II was born in Tucumcari, NM on Sept. 28th, 1925 and died in Chattanooga, TN on May 6th, 2013 after suffering a stroke. Tom was a Pharmacist’s Mate 2nd Class in the U.S. Navy during WWII and after the war was a Pharmacist in Colorado for thirty-five years. After his retirement, he and his wife Irene moved to the Chattanooga area and lived here for over thirty years. Preceding him in death is his wife Irene, parents Jane and Thomas, and three sisters Mary Ester Sims, Syble Sims, and Billie (Yardley) Moser. Tom leaves behind two nephews Frankie and Rockie Yardley, numerous other family members and many close and loving friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday afternoon, May 11th, at 4 PM in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
