Mary David Street Mary David Houston Street, 88, of Lookout Mountain, GA passed away Monday, April 15, 2013 at her home. Mary David was a graduate of Girls Preparatory School, Class of 1942 and University of Chattanooga, Class of 1946. She was a life long member of First Christian Church, a sustaining member of Junior League of Chattanooga and a volunteer at the Community Kitchen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas G. Street, Jr.; parents, Dr. David P. and Mrs. Ela Fowler Houston; sisters, Sarah Houston Baker and Josephine Houston Bishop. Survivors include her sons, Thomas G. Street, III and David H. Street, of Lookout Mountain and Edward D. (Pat) Street of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Katie (Danish) Rahman of Houston, Texas and Karla (Blake) Eaker of Signal Mountain; great-grandchildren, Imaan Rahman, Alice Eaker and Emma Eaker, and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services and interment will be held at 2pm on Thursday, April 18, 2013 in Forest Hills Cemetery with Rev. Paul Rebelo officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:45pm-1:45pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
