DJ - Though we only met you once on that bright, sunny Easter morning in 2012, it felt like we had already known each other. You had such a bubbly personality and a fun-loving spirit. You made a great impression on us. We thoroughly enjoyed the brief time we spent together that morning at McDonald's, which was the day you took "Ole Blue" home. There was so much joy on your face. It's a memory we will never forget. Our only regret is that we never planned the time to come to Chattanooga to get to know you better and share some rides in your hometown. Scott and I will be praying for your beautiful girls as well as everyone else that loved you so. You will be greatly missed.

Deani, you were one of a kind and a very special person who was taken from us way too soon. I will always remember the good times and how we were both very strong willed and hard headed. And even though I'm the original "DJ" (LOL), there is no one else I would have rathered share those initials with. Not really sure where to even start........... Oh DJ you brought so much life to the table of life. You made us all feel good about ourselves anytime that we were around you. You had a heart of gold and cared so much about so many. However, what you cared about most were your beautiful daughters and precious son. The pictures, the stories, the laughs, the tears that you shared with those of us who had the opportunity to work with you were all priceless. Every time that I pass by a Cheer store or see a flyer for Cheer camp I think of all of the videos of your talented daughter. DJ - you are not an angel in heaven and I am positive that God is putting you to work as I write this on your celebration wall. I love you my friend. I will hold you in my heart forever and ever. My heart is with your girls and I pray that they find warmth from those surrounding them at this most difficult time. Prayers to the entire family.

DJ...The very first time I met you, I knew you were someone I wanted for a life long friend. You were so easy to talk to and had me laughing within the first 5 minutes. Every since that day and the times we got to hang out here and there after that, I have always considered you a dear friend. I admired your spunk, your pizzazz, your ambition, your determination, your grace under fire, your sense of humor, your intelligence, your generosity. So many endearing qualities that I am gonna remember and I am gonna sorely miss. You were my first friend to come to the hospital and hold my son after he was born. Your face lit up and your smile was bright and you said it reminded you of holding your son, Sean. That was a blessed moment that is etched in my mind forever.
