It's hard to know where to begin, thanking God for Elaine's heart and soul. She was a great example of how much love a person can show and give as a result of her devotion to her Creator, Father, and Savior. The memories flood in of the way she always had a kind word for me, understanding, with wisdom from God, and helped in tangible ways often, and her joyous giggle that ended many sweet comments is heard so clearly in my memory. She always spoke up for others, especially for the voiceless, the unborn children, and their mothers who only needed to understand and receive help, love, and courage to choose life. She loved the church and everyone she met, living to serve, bless, and to glorify God and enjoy Him, forever.

Elaine Morris . . . what a lovely lady inside and out. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to get to know Elaine and Bob; they came into my life when I lost a dear friend and they became steadfast friends and a true inspiration. I can hardly think of one without the other. They lived their faith and exhibited their love of God and fellow man daily. I miss Elaine's pop-in visits, her coffee cake, her phone calls, her caring, her hugs. There is a very bright star in Heaven shining down on us and it's Elaine. My loss doesn't compare to the family's loss, but she was a dear friend and I will miss her even more than I've missed her since she moved away. She and Bob captured a huge place in my heart and now there is a hole. Elaine . . . what a wonderful and beautiful person she was. She will live on in my heart.

I remember as a new bride and we had only one car, Elaine would regularly pick me up and take me to the Ladies meeting at church on Tuesdays. When people were sick she would make them a dinner of roast beef with all the trimmings and bring it to them. There was a fun story of a session meeting at their home where she made a cake for the men and hid it under the sofa so her family wouldn't eat it before the meeting. She then had to remove it during the meeting in order to cut and serve it to the guys. We loved Elaine and appreciated her heart for the Lord and others. At one period she frequently chose the hymn "What ere' my God ordains is Right". This was true of her faith all her life. She will be missed but I will look forward to seeing her" on the other side".
