Carolyn, though I did not know your mom, when my sister Barbara told me of her passing, it brought back so many wonderful memories of our playing together at your grandmother's house on Oriole Dr. I'm so sorry to hear of your mom's passing...I can remember how excited you were when you found out about the wedding plans and I know you have treasured her all of these years. Although Mae Betty wasn't my 2nd grade teacher at Missionary Ridge School, I remember what a sweet teacher she was and what a sweet mother she became to you, Carolyn.
