Obituary of Lois Dorsett

Lois Dorsett, 96 of Hixson and formerly of Winston-Salem, NC was promoted to her heavenly home Saturday, June 13, 2015. She was a member of North Pointe Pentecostal Holiness Church in High Point, NC and attended Union Springs Baptist Church in the Falling Water community. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Edgar Dorsett; grandsons, Robert Dorsett, Jr. and Ronnie Dean Dorsett;; two brothers and three sisters. Survivors include daughters, Linda (Odell) Broadway, Hixson; Edith Holder, Clemmons, NC; sons, Richard (Syble) Dorsett, Mooresville, NC, Robert (Mitzie) Dorsett, Winston-Salem, NC, Kenneth (Rhonda) Dorsett, Walnut Cove, NC; eleven grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4 - 8 P.M., Monday, June 15, 2015 at Legacy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Union Springs Baptist Church Building Fund, 5911 Levi Rd., Chattanooga, TN 37415.
