I am sorry for the loss of your dear Lillian. During times like this our God gives each one of us a very real hope of actually enjoying life with our passed loved ones once again right here on this good earth. At John 5:28 and 29 Jesus himself tells us that those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out to a resurrection of life, similar to how he resurrected his friend Lazarus. Lazarus was resurrected back to life on earth. That is in harmony with God's original purpose for humans, to "fill the earth and subdue it". (Genesis 1:28) God's original purpose for humans has not changed. To see our passed loved ones again on a beautified earth is a hope few dare to dream about, much less firmly believe in. This hope has helped me get through some tough times and I hope it helps you now. When some time has passed, feel free to visit jw.org for more comfort. Again, I am sorry for your loss. MN

My grandmother was one of the most amazing women I have ever known. While in boot camp at Parris Island she wrote the most thoughtful and loving letters that not only kept me up on the accomplishments of the Titans, but also motivated me through her loving encouragement like only she could do. I will miss her dearly and think of her daily for the rest of my days.

Mrs. Barnett and her sister, Jane Jack, were close friends of my late mom, Betty Haymore Walley. I remember visiting Mrs. Magill and her sister at the Oak Street Home--often when Mrs. Jack and Mrs. Barnett were present. As a young child, my family also lived on Oak Street. Mrs. Barnett was a wonderful lady, compassionate and caring for others. She, like her mom and siblings, will be sorely missed, but fondly remembered for her Christian spirit and love of others. My deepest sympathy to her family. David Walley, Jr.
