Joseph Paul Freitas, 73, of Hixson passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015. Mr. Freitas owned and operated J.F. Equipment Services in Chattanooga for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Germaine Freitas; son, Joseph Freitas, Jr.; daughters, Mary Grossnicklaus, Terri Anderson, Jolina DiCicco, Andrea Phillips and Courtney McPherson; grandchildren, Corey Pippin, Macayla Phillips, Aibigal Freitas, Michael Gray, Brian Gray, Daniel Gray, Maddison Anderson and Jarod Anderson; many great-grandchildren; special friend, Toby Van Pelt.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 23, 2015 in Hamilton County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM Sunday, March 22, 2015 at the funeral home.
