Mike Curtis, 58, of Soddy Daisy died Sunday, September 22, 2013 at his residence. He was a member of Sequoyah Baptist Tabernacle, Daisy Masonic Lodge #706 F & AM, the Alhambra Shrine, and American Legion Post 40. Mike was a United States Army ++veteran and was preceded in death by his father, George William Curtis; and his grandparents, Thomas and Mary Johnson and William and Mary Curtis. Survivors include his wife, Linda Curtis, Soddy Daisy; sons, Shane (Kristin) Curtis, Ooltewah, Casey Curtis, and Logan Park, Chattanooga; daughter, Whitney Park, Chattanooga; grandchildren, Trinity, Gaige, Aaliyah, and Ayden; mother, Belle Curtis, Lookout Valley; brother, Jeff (Ginger) Curtis, Hixson; sister, Joan (Jimmy) Sewell, Lookout Valley; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 6pm on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Grant Chauncey officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alhambra Shrine, 1000 Alhambra Dr Chattanooga, TN 37421. The family will receive friends from 4 - 6 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
