Obituary of Ida Faye Holcomb

Ida Faye Holcomb, 69, of Hixson passed away peacefully in to the arms of Jesus on Saturday, March 16, 2013. She was a longtime caregiver for the elderly for many years. She is preceded in death by her mother, Allie Mae Toney and brothers, C.L. Toney and Raymond Toney. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Holcomb of Hixson; sons, Howard (Denna) Holcomb and Douglas Holcomb, all of Rossville, GA; Charles (Robin) Holcomb of Concord, N.C.; sisters, Nell Laymons of Chucky, TN; and Bennie Lee Williams of South Pittsburg, TN; brothers, Lee Toney of Lookout Mountain, GA and Bob Toney of Chickamauga, GA; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 4PM on Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. David McNabb officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-4PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
