Betty Lou Wilson, 81, of Soddy-Daisy passed away on Friday, February 1, 2013 at Soddy-Daisy Healthcare Center. Betty retired from DuPont after thirty one years of service. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed square dancing and clogging. She was preceded in death by her parents, Zeke and Chili Swindell; sister, Peggy Swindell Burgess. Survivors include her sons, Elbert Roy Wilson, Jr and Michael Allen Wilson; sister, Sherry Swindell Darling-Haskin; grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Wilson Fielding, Christopher (Ashley) Wilson, Jeremiah (Michell) Buchanan, Eric Wilson, Daryl Wilson and Joshua (Carla) Wilson. great-grandchildren, Hadley and Devin Buchanan; and several close nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Dewayne Renfro officiating. The family request that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O.
