To Elizabeth and Brunswick I can't believe that I missed the notice of Buffy's service--Walter and I had been out of town the week before, returned to the storm, no newspapers, etc. I finally read the paper Friday afternoon, and learned that she had died. What a wonderful obituary! It really captured Buffy's spirit, personality, and uniqueness. THere's just nobody like her. I would love to have addresses for you two. Buffy, Sam and Elizabeth lived across the street from us on Wendy Trail. Buffy and I enjoyed many casual conversations when we'd meet up in the neighborhood. Elizabeth, you and my daughter, Gina, were good buddies. You all decided to 'run away' together when you were about four. Destination? The drugstore. Allan Voges called and said he'd given you all a treat and you were safe and content . Our prayers for comfort and consolation remain with all Buffy's friends and family. Buffy was the BEST! She was always a source of joy, encouragement and pure humor over the years of our relationship. There will never be anyone else like her. She taught me so many things over the years. God gave her to me as a gift and I'm so blessed to have called her a true friend. I love you Buffy.
