Obituary of Margaret Saphrona Parker

Margaret 'Sophie' Wilson Parker, 90, went to be with the Lord Tuesday August 28, 2012. She was a life-long resident of Apison, Tennessee and a member of Apison United Methodist Church. She has lived with her Daughter in Ringgold, GA. for the past 5 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Cora Brock Wilson; husband, Albert Guy Parker Sr.; sons, Albert G. Parker Jr. and Donald L. Parker; daughter, Glenda Correll; brothers, Willard, Kenneth, Herman and Robert Wilson and sister, Betty Leach. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy (Willie) Roberson of Ringgold; grandsons, Michael (Kathy) Roberson of Ringgold, Brandon Roberson of Apsison, and Matthew (Wendy) Parker of Harrison; granddaughter, Sabrina Correll Walker of Ringgold and 8 great- grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2PM on Friday at the Apison United Methodist Church, with Rev. Todd Chancy and Rev. Debbie Stokes officiating. Internment will follow at Plowman Cemetery. The Family will receive friends from 12noon until 2pm on Friday at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Apison United Methodist Church.
