Sports conversations I have had the wonderful privilege of knowing Lynn for about a yeay and had the pleasure of delivering Oxygen to his home. He always greeted me with a smile and sometimes a warm handshake. We spent time talking about Tennessee football and I found him to be a very knowledgable sports fan and a very pleasant conversationalist. Mr. Thompson will be greatly missed and I hope to see him again in Heaven. RIP Don Brewer

Our Wedding Day I met Lynn almost 20 years ago in our back yard prior to my marriage to Harry. What beautiful words he spoke over our wedding nuptials vi will never forget the kindness and those beautiful blue eyes. Since that day I have considered him a part of our family just as Harry does. Another occasion in which I was so impressed were the words he spoke at uncle john's funeral. I gained more knowledge and loving insight into the Landreth Thompson connection than ever before. His eloquence, kindness and goodness will always be remembered by the Landreth family. Lynn you were special and will be missed by many.

Dorothy, Cliff, Tim,and Jeff, I was saddened to learn of the death of Lynn. You have suffered a great loss. I grieve with you. Even through the pain you feel now, your heart will remember those shared moments that mean so much. I remember fondly the time we shared at Daisy UMC. Wish my health would enable me to come to the service. Be assured of my prayers. Sue Quillen (widow of Claude Quillen, former pastor). 1002 Smoky Crossing Way; Seymour, Tenn. 37865

Lynn was my pastor for several years at Vine Grove in Dayton. He was always kind and caring and a wonderful pastor. He and Dorothy were wonderful friends and good examples for us all. I find myself frequently remembering things he said. Sadly, I learned of his passing too late to attend the services, but my thoughts and prayers are with the family, and I will always remember his kind, compassionate and loving service to his God and to his Church. May he rest until that great and final day when we see him again.
