Obituary of Ann Elizabeth Johnson

Ann M. Johnson, 82, of Soddy-Daisy passed peacefully at her home on Saturday, June 16, 2012. Mrs. Johnson retired from Sears at Northgate Mall after many years of service. She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and attended University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She was a founding member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and active in the St. Vincent De Paul Society. Ann was a former member of St. Bridget Catholic Church in Dayton. She also enjoyed being a volunteer for Hospice of Chattanooga. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred H. Johnson, III and daughter, Susan T. Johnson. Survivors include her sons, Mike (Jan) Johnson of Soddy-Daisy, Jimmy (Patti) Johnson of Red Bank, T.J. (Trish) Johnson of Rossville; grandsons, David Johnson of Knoxville, Daniel Johnson of Atlanta and Stephen (Amanda) Johnson and great-grandson, Jeremiah Johnson, all of New Bern, N.C.. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11AM on Tuesday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Monsignor Al Humbrecht and Father Mike Creson as celebrants. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
