We were sorry to hear of Mrs. Crisp's passing. Tony was ever present in her life and care, and stood by his commitment to her. She and Naomi Grove were once roommates, and we saw first hand Tony's total devotion to Evelyn.

Tony, I just want to say that although I was only a child when I knew Evelyn from White Oak Baptist, her gifts, talent and kindness have remained with me to this day. I remember taking art lessons from her along with a group of kids from the church and how she helped me with my 4th grade project for school. I was so inspired by her and still share my memories of her from time to time with family and friends. She was a wonderful woman and you both will always be in my heart. I will pray for you and the family and I believe we can rejoice in knowing she has gone home to be with our Lord.

Tony, We were in an Alzheimer's Support group together, and my husband, Frank (Binky) Ganzer was at Soddy Daisy Nursing Home when Evelyn was there, and I wanted to offer my heartfelt sympathy, and to let you know that I am sure Evelyn is in a much happier place. Charlene Ganzer

FOR EVELYN The gentle hands which once with care drew the holy Jesus' face, Now touch the truth of heaven's Son in accordance with His grace. No longer just imagining with artist's brush or pen Her loving eyes see fully now what she could not see then. By faith she trusted in the One who promised such reward, Who paid the price beyond the means of sinners to afford. She traced the wings of angels who heralded His birth And praised Him with her talent for light and truth and worth. Depicting angels singing sweet anthems to our King And now she stands among them to hear each chorus ring. But an artist cannot capture or poet write with pen How great will be our rapture when there is no more sin. How wonderful the feeling when tears no longer rain, No striving or competing, just peace and joy, no pain. The portrait of the Lamb of God whom this promise will fulfill Is the picture of a rugged cross on darkest Calvary's hill. Dear Tony, I was very pleased to hear during the service that Evelyn loved poetry as well as art. I wrote this for her before the service as I looked at her illustrations of angels and the Christ child in our church Advent Book from some years ago. I will give you a copy later which includes her drawings. We love you and you are much in our prayers! In-the-bonds of Christ's love, Arch and Kay Brown
