Doris Hill Stulce, 84, of Soddy-Daisy died on Sunday, April 22, 2012, at home. She was a Christian and member of First Baptist Church, Soddy-Daisy, where she taught Sunday School classes for many years. She was born on August 12, 1927, in Snow Hill, North Carolina. She was a graduate of UTC and a beloved kindergarten teacher at the Daisy Baptist Church and at Soddy Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred W. and Sudie S. Hill, and brother, F.W. Hill, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Arnold A. Stulce; son and daughter-in-law Arnold A. Stulce, Jr., and Rebecca S. Stulce, and son Hardie H. Stulce along with grandchildren, Emily K. Stulce and Andrew A. Stulce who called her Dorsie and thought she was the best grandmother in the world. Also surviving are sisters, Barbara H. Troeleman, Beaufort, N.C., and Helen H. Smith, Mooresville, N.C., as well as brother, Arthur Hill, Wilson, N.C., aunt Lucille Waters, Raleigh, N.C., and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church, Soddy-Daisy, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the church with Dr. Ed Briggs and Dr. Seton Tomyn officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Billy Stulce Memorial Scholarship Fund at Soddy-Daisy High School, 618 Sequoyah Road, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379 or the Building Fund at First Baptist Church, Soddy-Daisy, P.O.
