Obituary of Elizabeth Jewell Scoggins

Elizabeth Jewell Scoggins, 85, of Chattanooga passed away, Friday, February 03, 2012 in an area healthcare facility. Mrs. Scoggins was a member of Hamilton Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Cornelia Brogdon, 2 sisters (Blanche McCutheon and Eliza Harris); 2 brothers (Bill and Jim Brogdon); several nieces and nephews. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Robert Woodall; grandchildren, Demetri Proffitt (Carrie), Patrick Moore, and Jennifer Flowers; six great-grandchildren Scott, Ali and Grace Proffitt, Monroe Flowers, Treyor and Tyler Moore and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Saturday, February 11, 2012 in the Legacy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday, February 13, 2012 at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
