Obituary of Roberta Charlene Thomas

Roberta Charlene Thomas, 74 of Lakesite died Friday, December 30, 2011. Mrs. Thomas was a resident of Lakesite for over 30 years and served as City Recorder for 25 years and was proud to help with annex and census for Lakesite. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, and was a member of Red Hats. She is survived by her husband and soul mate of 54 years, Vern Thomas (one time council member of Lakesite), son and daughter in law, Doug and Janice; daughter and son in law, Sharon and Sid; grandchildren, Shaun, Danielle and Brad Rogers, Brandon; great grandchildren, Hayden and Austin; sister, Jean Cash; her beloved pet Molly; as well as many wonderful friends and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 4 P.M. Saturday, January 7, 2012 in the funeral home chapel. The family wishes to thank everyone for their love and prayers.
