Shirley Ann Green, 68, of Hixson went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 in an area hospital. Shirley attended Shady Grove Baptist Church and loved to sing gospel music for the Lord. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all. Survivors include her husband, Leon Green of Hixson; son, DeWayne Rice of Brayton, TN; daughters, Kim Dobbs of Hixson and Karen Pendergrass of Owasso, OK; brothers, Hubert Adams of Chattanooga and Earl Adams of Soddy-Daisy; grandchildren, Kelly and Jesse Rice; Noah Dobbs and Ethan Pendergrass and great-granddaughter, Taylor Grace Rice.
