Steven Spencer Elrod, Jr., 23, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Thursday, August 11, 2011 at his home. Steven attended Straightway Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James Leroy and Johnnie Ruth Elrod and uncles, Tony Dykes and Dwight Elrod. Survivors include his parents, Steven and Theresa Elrod; maternal grandparents, Buddy Lamar and Wanda Dykes and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2PM Monday in the Legacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Troy Simmons officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3-8PM on Sunday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
