Obituary of Billie Jean Wingo

Billie Jean Wingo, 81, of Hixson went home to be with her Lord and reunite with her husband of forty two years, Terry Wingo on Saturday, July 9, 2011. She retired from National Print Group and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Her daughter, Tracie West; brother, Robert Payne and sisters, Bonnie Kilgore and Mildred Deere preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughters, Janet (Larry) Fugatt of Hixson, Bonnie (J.R.) Shipley of Chattanooga, Terrie (Chuck) Christopher of Soddy-Daisy; sisters, Jo West of Ashburn, GA and Mary Wingate of Albany, GA; grandchildren, Chris Fugatt, Jason Fugatt, Brian West, Baylie Shipley and Heather Christopher; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Kaylin, Kinsey and Peyton Fugatt; several nieces and nephews; son-in-law, Danny West; best friend, Lorene Talley andspecial pet, Buddy Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 12, 2011 in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friend from 3-7 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday in Greenwood Cemetery. The family would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga and the nurses and staff of the Hospice of Chattanooga Unit at Healthcare Center at Standifer Place.
