Obituary of Stephen C. Allison

Steve 'Birchie' Allison, 83, of Soddy-Daisy made his Heavenly journey on May 24, 2011. He joins the family circle of Thomas W. Allison (father), Lillen Roark Allison (mother), Thomas Junior Allison (brother) and Helen Allison Boyd (sister). He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and retired from DuPont. He leaves his wife of fifty seven years, Katheryn June Allison; daughters, Kathy Allison and Stephenia Allison Jones and Wayne Mincey; son, Dennis Allison and Shirley; grandchildren, Colton Jones, Brooke Jones and Whitney Allison. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 27, 2011 in the Legacy Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Alan Rogers and Rev. Ted Painter officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
