Rebecca Ann Hawkins, 49, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011.
She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was very involved in many volunteer organizations such as Ronald McDonald House and the Chattanooga Zoo.
She is survived by sister Susan Hawkins Moore (John) of Nashville, brother Phillip Hawkins (Kay) of Chattanooga, father Dr. Paul E. Hawkins, nieces and nephews Elizabeth Claire Hawkins and Andrew Clayton Hawkins of Chattanooga and Luke McNamara Moore and Caroline Grace Moore of Nashville.
A memorial service of remembrance will be held on February 6 at the Fry Center at River Park beginning at 3 pm.
Donations may be made to the Chattanooga Zoo.
