Obituary of Ruben O. Reynolds

Ruben O. 'Chip' Reynolds, 75, of Hixson passed away on Friday, December 31, 2010 at his home after a lengthy illness. He retired from the United States Navy after 21 years of service as a Chief Petty Officer. He also retired from the Cannon Corporation and was an avid biker. Chip was preceded in death by his father Wilmer Othell Reynolds and daughter, Pam Giovenonni. He is survived by his loving wife, Lou Ellen; mother, Ruby Matto; brother, Dean Reynolds; sister, Cheryl Butler; son, Charles (Diane) Giovenonni; step-daughters, Diane Cavitt and Cathy Adams; ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. A special thanks to dear friends, Christine and Earl Grimes. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6221 Shallowford Rd.
