Obituary of Betty Rose Ashley

Betty Rose Ashley, 71, of Hixson passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010 in an area hospital. She was a long-time employee of Erlanger Pharmacy and was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Opal Moore; sister, Mary Jo Thornton and step-father, Edgar Colburn. Survivors include her husband, Wayne Ashley; son, Joey Ashley; daughter, Sara Wilson and four grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 in the funeral home chapel Rev. Ted Painter officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
