What a guy! It was always a treat to see or talk with Chip. He always had a laugh or a smile to share. We will miss Chip and his humorous antics. This great guy leaves us with fond memories.

Linda, We were so shocked and saddened to learn of Chip's death. We have so many wonderful memories of good times on the lake and of Chip teaching the kids to water ski. We will miss him.

Dear Linda, I have found it almost unimaginable that Chip is gone. That ready smile and quirky sense of humor-- hard to believe we won't hear the original any more. To go to bed one night secure in your life and its continuation as is, then wake up to find your world has literally shifted while you slept and nothing will ever be the same-- what a sad adjustment you are facing. Please know that I, among many other people, love you and want to aid in any way possible, from holding your hand quietly to taking your classes. I am so saddened for the passing of Chip. He was a great mentor and friend, one of the first that worked with me during my first years as a computer lab technician. He gave me valuable tips and encouragement. May God give you and your family the peace that passes all understanding during this difficult time.

When I listen to music I remember all the fun times Chip, Ron, Ken, Dawson, Terry and I had during our school years and afterwards. Many smiles and laughs among best friends with a little mischief thrown in for good measure. Even though our paths crossed only a few times since then, the feelings for a close friend were always there. Chip, you are sadly missed, but you and my friends are the music of my life and with the music my wonderful memories of you will always remain.
