Obituary of Carlee Long

Carlee Long, 84, of Hixson passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010 in an area hospital. She was of the Seventh Day Adventist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Long and sister, Mary Ellen Ray. Survivors include her son, Charles (Bennie) Long of Beersheba Springs, TN; daughter, Carolyn (Garry) Harding of Hixson; brothers, Henry (Carrie) Hobbs of Sequatchie County; H.T. (Mary Ann) Hobbs of South Pittsburg, TN; and Bobby Joe (Judy) Hobbs of Hixson; sisters, Gracie (Ronald) Bales of Hixson and Edna (Jim) Johnston of Ooltewah, nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday in the Legacy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jason Salyers officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy.
