I Love You Mommy! Mom, I will always be thankful for the struggles you went through as a young mother. I will always cherish staying up late, after the €œkids€ went to bed, watching old black and white movies on the couch with you. I will always remember the long hours you worked waitressing to help to support your family. I will miss not being able to call you to ask, the day before Thanksgiving, how to make that SPECIAL dressing (p.s. I knew, I just liked calling you and having you explain). I will always remember how you choose, after being diagnosed, to spend QUALITY time with your family €œfeeling healthy€ over being sick ALL the time from treatments. I will also never forget the struggles you had breathing in order to do so. I may not have understood some things at some times, but as a Mom and now as a Grandma I am understanding more and more. I will miss talking on the phone for hours. I will miss flying in to see you and having our hair appointments, but I will always remember your BEAMING smile the last time we had your hair done (8/2/10) just a day before your 21st year celebration€”you were SO EXCITED to €œshow-off€ your new hair-do to your group! (THANKS, JEN!) But most of all, Mom, I will NEVER FORGET that you drove with me to the bus stop (the last time I saw you on 8/3/10) and was ADAMENT about standing outside on a hot, humid August day chatting and waiting with me so that you could give me a big hug & kiss and say 'goodbye' and wave until the bus was out of sight. I love you Mommy! I miss you very much and I will NEVER, EVER forget you! Lotsa Love, Lori

To Fred Mom, As you know, I love you so very much! I will miss you everyday! I am so sad that you are not with us, but I am happy that you are not struggling to breathe any longer. I wish we had alot more time together. I will cherish the 5 days that we had together at the end, as will Caleb and Joshua. I enjoyed our talks together and I'm glad that you know that we are very proud to have had you as our mother and grandmother. I am very honored to have been able to care for you, even though you didn't want to have me fuss over you, I wanted to. I will see you later Fred!!!

To the princess that you are.... Dear Mom, Words can not begin to describe how lucky I am to have a Mother,friend and now an Angel in my life like you. Mom, you truly are my hero. I am content knowing that you are in the best place in the universe pain free with God and Dad. I know that the pain I feel right now is being comforted by your spirit and even tho i cant see your loving smile i can feel you right next to me helping me thru all of this as i did here at Marys last night. It has been 3 years since I've been able to see and talk to you Fred, I have missed you so much! I know you are happy and healthy now and that makes missing you a little easier. A year already It's almost been a year and the memories are a plenty!! Mom, I will never forget you. As the eldest son, I feel that there was a special relationship we shared. I definatly was not the perfect son, but who really is? You understood that we all are human and make mistakes. Thank you for allowing me to live life and to learn from the life lessons....as you did! The time we shared will always be special to me. May your soul be at rest knowing that you did the best you could and we all will be fine with the tools you taught us all. I do love you and will hope to make you proud living life to the fullest!!!
