Frances "Fran" Smith Lowe, 76, of Hixson passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010 at her residence. She retired from Memorial North Park after 30 years of service. Survivors include her son, Thomas Lynn Lowe of Denver, Colorado; daughter, Pat Lowe Bass of Chattanooga; five grandchildren, Gina and Christina Bass, Jeremy, Jonathan and Samantha Lowe and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be at held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Robert Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in Shadwick Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 1:00 PM on August 31st at the funeral home. Arrangements are by locally owned and operated Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy.
