Thelma B. Roddy, 95, of Hixson forever loved and never to be forgotten passed away on Monday, August 23, 2010 at her home. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Donnie Ray and Linda Roddy, her three grandchildren, Donna Lancaster, Steve Roddy, and Melissa Olive, and five great-grandchildren, Casey Orrell, Brittany Roddy, Josh Roddy, Will Olive, and Nash Olive. She was loved by the many with whom she shared her life. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday in the Legacy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jay Reed officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, August 25th at the funeral home. Arrangements are by locally owned and operated Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
