Dorothy A. Metter, 91, of Hixson passed away Saturday, August 21, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Metter. She is survived by her daughters, Tacie Overbeck and Laurie Metter of Hixson; two grandchildren, Shawnelle Winters of Hixson and Brian (Dee Anne) Overbeck of Mount Juliet, TN; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be private.
