Obituary of Irene Lewis Vandergriff

Irene Lewis Vandergriff, 88, of Chattanooga passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Davis Vandergriff and daughter, Alice Gene Brown.
Survivors include her daughters, Elsie (Bill) Walden, Reda (Larry) Todd and Lois Vandergriff; brothers, William Lewis and Albert Lewis; sisters, Pauline Hicks; Elsie Swafford and Elizabeth Horner; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday in the Legacy Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Richard Horner and Michael Hearrell officiating. Interment will follow in Sawyers Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM on Monday and 11 AM-9 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Soddy-Daisy, TN
