I am very sad to learn of Julio's death. When he called me back in late January, we compared notes on the health challenges we were facing. It was hard for me to imagine what he had been through. He was so upbeat and positive even in the face of a very difficult situation. Julio was as good a man as I have ever known. When we worked together at Sequoyah and later Corporate, I could see the pride on his face when he would talk about his family. He dearly loved his family. He was a solid engineer, very meticulous and thorough in his analysis. He was a pleasure to work with and to know. My heartfelt prayers are with you.

Barbara, John, Barbarita, and families -- We are so sorry to hear about Julio. He was a "class act" at work and in life -- a prime example of how we all should live our lives in good times and with illness. It was an honor to know him, and he will be missed by all who knew him. Our hearts and prayers are with you. Love, Carol & Steve

Barbara, John and Barbarita: So sorry and so shocked to hear about Julio. I can still see him working in the yard with a rolled up bandana around his head to catch the sweat. He loved working in his yard and it showed. What a guy!!!! Our love and condolences to all of you and may God guide and Bless you. Mark and Angie McKeehan

Julio and Barbara have been a great couple. I remember you guys having us over to your house for a summer time party. Julio was running the boat and Barbara had all the inside activities covered. We had a great time. I am sure everyone enjoyed each gathering in the Nieri home. I have enjoyed every story of the adventures of the Nieri family, from Julio's working on various things, and Barbarita's learning to drive, to John's adventures. What a smart and gifted family! Barbara, I am glad you had retirement time together to share and travel. Life is too short. You guys have done so much, and you have blessed my life through knowing you both. God Bless! In Love. Sam.
