Lemon Queen Kim will always be in my heart and I will miss her dearly. I have so many fun memories with Kim who was a great friend and the closest thing to a sister I ever had. Her kind heart and fun spirit would always brighten your day. One of my fondest childhood memories with Kim are the Lemons and Salt. It really didn't matter what we were doing, we had to get a BAG of lemons and salt. I vividly remember a time when Vivian was hospitalized and we insisted on staying with her. You would imagine kids in a waiting room wouldn't last long before boredom set in and were asked what in the world we would do... We said Eat Lemons! Here we are camped out in hospital waiting room having a party with sleeping bags, salt, knife and a big ol' BAG of lemons. Why a bag? Because we didn't eat just one, we would eat them till our lips were chapped. Kim was the Lemon Queen and taught me that the rind was just as tasty as the center, who needs a knife? I am grateful for all the fun times with my cousin and friend! I Love & Miss You Kim! Daphne

Kim was a wonderful person. She had a such a great sense of humor. Words seem so inadequate to express the sadness that we now feel. What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more hug, we may not understand why she left this earth so soon, or why she left before we were ready to say goodbye but little by little, we begin to remember not just that she died, but that she lived and what a blessing she was to those around her. And that her life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. My heart goes out to all of her family.
