Clifford 'Marty' Martin Burgess, Jr., 57, of Rossville passed away Saturday, February 27, 2010. Mr. Burgess was a welder at United Enterprises. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Burgess, Sr. Survivors include his wife, Karen Burgess; mother, Addie Lee Burgess; daughter, Tisa Kay Meighan of Knoxville; step-sons, Travis and Vance Buxmann of Georgia; sisters, Brenda (Marvin) Hill of Hixson and Patricia (Larry) Miller of Soddy-Daisy; grandchildren, Jacob, Bailie and Parker Meighan and nephews, Tim and Chuck Hill. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday in the Legacy Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Mitch McClure officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00-9:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
