Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Allen

Mary Elizabeth Morrison Allen, 90, of Chattanooga passed away Monday, February 15, 2010 in an area healthcare facility. Mrs. Allen was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and was of the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry W. Allen. Survivors include her step-daughter, Carol (Walter) Penick of Dayton, OH; sister, Mary Catherine Stanfield of Chattanooga and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Monsignor Al Humbrecht as celebrant and Father Mike Creson as co-celebrant. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
