I will miss you My prayers go out to you J.C., Molly, and Sandra. Where do I start how about at the beginning Sandra do you remember when I first saw Diana? We were standing outside of English class and she was walking below us and I commented on her and you slapped me in the arm and told me that she was your sister, wow how certain memories stay with us. Diana was my first love and will always be, she stole a part of my heart and will always have a spot in it. I only wish for the best for you and your family and for her children. Everyone that knew her and was a friend of hers has lost a very special person, but we all know that God has gained a special person. I regret that I didn't stay in touch with her and the family. Diana was an angel here on earth and now she has gone home, may God bless each and everyone that has felt a loss from this tragic occurance.

Such a young soul I have known the Perkins family since I was in 1st grade growing up with Diana's older sister (Santra). This has saddened me to hear of the loss of Diana. She was always so full of life and it was never a dull moment when you were around her. She definitely knew how to keep a crowd of friends laughing. Diana will truly be missed by not only her family but her friends too. "Enter into His gates with Thanksgiving, and His Courts with Praise. Be Thankful to Him and Bless His Name. For the Lord is Good, His Mercy is Everlasting, And His Truth Endures to All Generations". Psalms 100:4-5 God bless Diana's son, daughter, mother & sister as they try to make sense of their loss.

welcome to the family the first time you entered my life was over thirty years ago. you and santra were the first to welcome me into what would eventually become my husbands family. it seems like it was yesterday, when you started that day calling me aunt regina. through the years when i would pick up the phone and hear aunt regina it's me, i would know instantly that it was you. i will miss most of all your laugh, the long phone calls and the joy in your voice when you would talk about your children. your aunt regina and sugar-boy love you and will miss you so much.

I just learned of Diana's passing yesterday. Although I did not know her well I was fortunate to have the opportunity to have met her and spend some time with her. I had lost touch with her over the last few months and have wondered and hoped she was doing well but never did I expect to hear about her passing. My deepest sympathy goes to her family and her close friend J.N., may God grant you the strength to perservere in this trying sorrowful time. To Diana, rest in peace, you are missed my friend.

Molly, Aaron & Brianna I honestly don't know what to say except how very very sorry I am for your loss. I had so much fun growing up with Diana & Sandra. Those are days I'll never forget. When I saw her last night with her kids she was so happy to be with them both! She was laughing and enjoying it so much! We talked a lot about the crazy stuff we did as kids and how at times we still act like we are. I guess thats why it seemed impossible that she was gone today. I will miss her a lot and I'm glad to be counted as one of her friends. My love to you all,Terisa

Molly and Sandra, I am so sorry for your loss, you have lost a precious angel. I feel like I have lost her too. Diana stole a part of my heart when we were dating in highschool and I can't believe that she in gone. The time that I was able to spend with her before I left for the military can't ever be replaced. Diana was my first love and will always have a special place in my heart and in my mind. She gave me memories that will never fade. You and J.C. made me feel like part of your family and I thank you for that, my Mother and Dad loved her with everything and had accepted her as part of our family too. I am sitting here in front of this computer trying to find words that can express the way I am feeling about this tragic loss and it is hard. You can't help but to think about all the good things that she brought to the table, I remember the walks her and I used to have in the nieghborhoods and the way she would smile at me and her laugh. I will take comfort in knowing that she is in a better place now and may you both along with her children find the same comfort through prayer and friends to be able to find the strength to get through this. I would give anything to be able to be there with you during this time but I am in AfghanistanMay God Bless each and everyone of you. My wife Lynette, daughters Cassie and Amber and my son Nicholas want you all to know that you are in our prayers and thoughts. Please email me if and when you get a chance. If there is anything I can ever do for you and your family please don't hesitate to write.

molly, micheal and I are so sorry for your loss. Diana was a beautiful girl full of life. What i remember most about Diana was her zest for life. I dont think she ever met a stranger in her life time. Her smile was contagous it came straight from her big heart. Everytime one of us ran into her no matter how long time had passed she always made us feel like time had just stood still and we picked right back up where we last left off. she was an amazing girl who grew to be an amazing women. i hope her children always no what a great mom they had ,and may her zest for life pass threw to them so they to can see the world threw their beautiful mommy s eyes.
