Obituary of Herbert E. Snell

Herbert E. Snell, 81, of Hixson passed away Sunday, January 3, 2010. Mr. Snell was a retiree of Heil Company and a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and Roane Coral Society. He enjoyed golf and gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hebert H. Snell and Cassie Eagles Snell. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Snell of Hixson; son, David Snell of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Leslie Snell of Hixson; brother, Richard (Jerrie) Snell of Lakewood, CO; sister, Jane (Robert) Lewis of Moore, OK; grandchildren, Dwayne, Lana and Shane Snell and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father Mike Creson and Father Alex Waraksa officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM on Thursday at the church. The family request expressions of sympathy take the form of memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
