Dorothy 'Dot' McConnell Mann, of Hixson, died on November 22, 2009, surrounded by family and friends. Mann; her parents, 3 sisters, and 2 brothers. Survivors are her son, Eric T. Mann, and her sister, Elizabeth McConnell Morton, both of Hixson; a brother, Dr. Jack McConnell and his wife Mary Ellen, of Hilton Head, SC; and a number of nieces and nephews. Dot was a faithful member of Hixson United Methodist Church and the McConnell Sunday School Class.
