Obituary of Paula A. Nunley

Paula Kilgore Nunley, 41, of Hixson passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2009. She was a member of Hixson United Methodist Church and was a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Paula was employed 21 years with Alco Chemical Company. She was a Chemist, an Apiarist, and enjoyed cooking, gardening and the outdoors. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul David Kilgore; grandparents, Ell and Maggie Kilgore and Chester and Lizzie Lea. Surviving are her husband, Steve and daughter, Magdalene Grace Nunley of Hixson; mother, Estella (Troy) Smith of Gordonsville, TN. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Hixson United Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Martin officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 PM on Saturday at the church. The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions are made to the United Way of Greater Chattanooga, 630 Market Street, Chattanooga, TN 37402.
